MINI Sales Figures April 2011

MINI rocketed forward during the month of April, 2011 and scored the Best Month ever for US market. MINI USA reported sales of 6,446 cars, which is an increase of 67.7% over the 3,843 sold in April, 2010. Year to date for 2011 is up 49.4% versus 2010 (18,787 vs 12,571) Read more for details.



With sales of 1,709, Countryman recorded another solid month of sales. That represents about 26.5% of  the total MINI sales in April. The Countryman inventory is certainly up as well compared to last month, meaning more availability and off the lot choices. However, after besting itself every month up to March, the figure is actually down this month by 20 cars. (1,709-April vs. 1,729-March) All other models had better sales compared to March 2011.

With MINI Rocks the Rivals promotion (and $1000 off certificate for registering and attending - which you CAN use toward Countryman) started late April, the sales will likely increase in upcoming months for the Countryman.

We are not so sure yet as how this will effect the existing incentives MINI already has on its other models as MINI hasn't announced their May incentives at the time of posting.  The $1000 off certificate may be combined with any other offer/incentive available!

    In the SF Bay Area, MINI's "Rocks the Rivals" events are at MINI of Concord on May 15 and at East Bay MINI on May 19 - Apparently certificate is only good at the dealership that sponsors the event.
