The stoney environment combined with sunset in the background and dust trails makes it almost surreal and very alien-planet like feel to it - not to mention desaturated, sephia tone of the image. MINI Countryman Safety Car for MINI Challenge. It wears nice solid Bright Green with Black roof and White mirror cap with sweet looking JCW package, Driving lamp, and Black Bazel headlamp housing - I dig that!! No info on performance modifications if any other than lowered suspension perhaps. More photos after the jump.

PHOTO :: 'I have not seen this configuration yet' of the day

There are so many ways you can configure your own MINI and Countryman is no exception. The Cooper S Countryman All4 above features Bright Yellow with White roof, exterior chrome line, topped off with 18" White Turbo Fan wheels and White Bonnet Stripe! This color combo certainly won't be for everyone. However, the Bright Yellow does look better in person - I am quite fond of Bright Yellow / Black Roof / Anthracite Wheel combo - and it is highly unlikely that you will ever run into a same colored Countryman with color combo featured above. Very unique for sure!

Living with MINI :: my MINI Countryman photoshoot on Pico Blvd

A few days ago, I did mini-photoshoot of my Surf Blue MINI Countryman after work on the streets of Pico Blvd in Rancho Park area. As my lens has some issues shooting wide angle, and limitation of moving traffic on the street, I had a lot of fun shooting details of MINI Countryman. The more I look and study the design of Countryman, the more I appreciate the well designed Countryman. Well balanced proportion, great stance, and subtle surface details such as flaring rear fender, light catcher right above the rocker, not to mention all the neat graphic details throughout make the Countryman such a joy to look at every single time. And yeah, Surf Blue color truly kicks ass! Check out the photo set on CountrymanMotoring's Flickr. 

CountrymanMotoring goes MINI Rocks the Rivals at Alexander MINI

What a busy weekend it was! This past Saturday, I was busy pressing "PrtScn" button on my keyboard followed by "Ctrl+V" - to capturing Auriga Leader passing Panama Canal - then right after that I was off to Alexander MINI, Los Angeles, CA for MINI Rocks the Rivals test drive event. MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL4 vs. Nissan Juke 1.6T by DRIVR magazine

First... the shot above is one of the best MINI Countryman photo I've encountered with so far. Taken by Ken Divjak of DRIVR magazine of Belgium, the fantastic setting and the dynamic angle/composition of the shot of Countryman in motion is simply amazing! There are other really cool shots included with the article as well. As for the comparison review itself (You will have to translate with Google as it is in Dutch), they say that while there are so many similarities between MINI Countryman and Nissan Juke, these two are also quite different as well. Who is the winner? Read more to find out.
