MINI USA reported sales of 4,750 automobiles in November, up 70.5% from the 2,786 sold in November 2010. Year-to-date, MINI sales in the U.S. are up 25.4% on volume of 51,800 compared to 41,324 in the first eleven months of 2010.
“The results are exciting because it means customers are not only buying in record numbers they are also ordering customized vehicles,” said Jim McDowell, Vice President, MINI USA. “This will be the best sales year ever for MINI thanks to our expanding model line-up, and there’s more to come!”
MINI has sold 1,412 units of Countryman... while it is less than last month, the number is in line with numbers from earlier this year. Convertible and Clubman sales continue to dwindle and Coupe model found 286 new owners in November. This number represents 15 units more than Convertible which will decrease even further when Roadster is released.

I'm glad MINI is doing so well!
ReplyDeleteI met Jim McDowell (head of MINI USA) this past winter and him and his team just seem like they know what they're doing... This just proves it!
Well as someone who always kinda liked Mini but couldn't justify getting one (two small kids, taking clients out to dinner etc.) the Countryman may just be the Mini that makes me jump in. I love the coup but that will have to wait for my mid life crisis.
