Doing homework :: Researching MINI Countryman PART 1

This whole journey of getting a new car started when this thought came to my mind one fine afternoon day..........
"I want something new!" Obviously, it doesn't require a rocket scientist to come up with such idea!

So what did I do to put that idea into an action?

MINI Sales Figures March 2011

Apparently, MINIs sold quite well last month. March 2011 sales was 6,087 cars, up 68.5% compared to same month last year, making it the best March. Year to date for 2011 is up 41.4% versus 2010 (12,341 vs 8.728)

MINI Space Presents: Wanderlust Design Competition

MINI Space, urban initiative by MINI (fancy way of saying lifestyle blog created by MINI) hosts design competition quite regularly. I have not entered one yet, but with my upcoming ownership of MINI, perhaps this is the time.

Driving Impression: 2011 MINI Cooper Countryman [REVIEW]

I had driven Countryman Cooper and Cooper S at the dealership for a test drive. But such a short ride just isn't enough for me to formulate a solid idea on how the car would behave in day to day basis and in real driving conditions including freeway, traffic, mountain road, etc.

So, when I found out local car rental company, Midway, has a Countryman available, I dropped by on this Saturday afternoon. The initial quote was $99/day. Being Saturday afternoon, with no reservation on the car, I was able to get it for a good price.

My first ordered is in transit! (I added Heated Front Seat and my dealer simply placed a new order for me. So I have Two MINIs! ;)
